Teaching
As a teacher, I lead with curiosity and understanding. Where are my students coming from, and where do they want to go? What skills do they need to reach their goals? What motivates them?
In addition to my teaching at the University of the Pacific, I offer in-person (Dublin, CA) and virtual private lessons to dedicated violin students. While helping students develop a strong technical foundation, I encourage them to find and express their individual musical voice.
Above all, I foster a positive learning environment through a caring and healthy approach to playing and learning.
